Call for Papers for the Fourth International Academic Conference on "Management Change and Sustainable Development (MC&SD)"(First Round)
The International Academic Conference on Management Change and Sustainable Development (MC&SD) is an international academic exchange initiative launched by the School of Business Administration at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) in 2023. The conference aims to bring together leading scholars, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from China and around the world to explore how enterprises can achieve sustainable development in an increasingly complex, challenging, and uncertain external environment, while addressing the challenges arising from internal management transformation. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration, the conference helps deepen understanding of emerging business trends and provides intellectual support and policy insights for enterprise sustainability.
The first, second, and third MC&SD conferences were successfully held at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in 2023, 2024, and 2025, respectively. The themes of the three conferences were "Enterprise Digitalization and Management Innovation," "New-Quality Productivity and Enterprise Digital Innovation," and "AI Development and Enterprise Continuous Innovation." Each conference attracted extensive attention from academia, industry, and society. Renowned scholars and business leaders from China and abroad were invited to deliver keynote speeches and participate in thematic forums, parallel sessions, paper workshops, and other academic activities. With more than 300 onsite participants at each conference, MC&SD has demonstrated its growing academic influence and social impact.
As artificial intelligence becomes deeply embedded in organizational operations and value creation, enterprises are experiencing a systematic transformation in their R&D organization, production and operational processes, and strategic decision-making mechanisms. Consequently, the focus of enterprise management is evolving from the development of artificial intelligence itself to human–AI collaboration, which has become a key driver of high-quality enterprise development.
Against this backdrop, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, in collaboration with the North American Case Research Association (NACRA), the International Case Research Association (ICRA), the Business School of Aalborg University (Denmark), the Jiangxi Provincial Management Society, and other partner organizations, will jointly host the Fourth International Academic Conference on Management Change and Sustainable Development (MC&SD) in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, on November 14–15, 2026. The theme of this year's conference is "Human–AI Collaboration and High-Quality Enterprise Development." The conference aims to provide an international platform for scholars and practitioners to exchange research findings, share practical experiences, and generate new insights into the role of human–AI collaboration in advancing high-quality enterprise development.
In addition, this year's conference will co-host academic paper workshops with leading domestic and international journals, including SCI and SSCI-indexed journals as well as CSSCI-listed journals. Detailed information regarding the workshops, including registration procedures and related arrangements, will be provided in the Second Call for Papers. We warmly welcome your submissions.
We cordially invite scholars and researchers from universities and research institutions worldwide, as well as industry professionals and other interested participants, to submit papers and join us for this exciting academic event.
